Movement Monday: Quadruped Pull Through
Part of being a good coach and trainer is knowing exercises and movements for beginners, then knowing how to increase the difficulty in that same position.
The Quadruped Pull Through is a great example of that from our friends at DVRT. Taking the quadruped diagonal and adding some flavor with a sandbag. Here are the pointers:
1... Set up in quadruped, with your hands under your shoulders and knees under your hips.
2... With the bag at your side, drive the leg on that side towards the wall behind you.
3... Lock out the leg and grab the handle with the opposite hand.
4... Slowly drag the bag under you, keeping your hips and shoulder square to the floor.
5... Reset and repeat.
