Delicious High-Protein Avocado Toast Combos

If you don’t like avocado toast, there’s no hope for you.

It’s crunchy. It’s salty. It’s avocado-y. It’s just so delicious.

Here are some awesome combinations:

White Bean & Roasted Red Pepper Toast:

    1. 2 pieces your choice of bread, toasted

    2. ¼ cup shredded chicken

    3. ¼ cup white beans, canned, drained & rinsed

    4. ½ chopped roasted red pepper

    5. ½ mashed avocado

    6. Toppings: Handful of spinach, balsamic vinegar, roasted red pepper flakes, salt & pepper to taste

Margherita Toast:

    1. 2 pieces your choice of bread, toasted

    2. 1 fried eggs

    3. 2 slices fresh mozzarella

    4. ¼ mashed avocado

    5. Toppings: 3-5 cherry tomatoes, halved, dried oregano, fresh basil, salt & pepper to taste

Thai-Inspired Toast:

    1. 2 pieces your choice of bread, toasted

    2. ¼ - ½ cup shredded chicken

    3. ½ mashed avocado

    4. Toppings: Shredded carrot, thai peanut sauce, lime juice, chopped cilantro, salt & pepper to taste

Mexican-Inspired Toast:

    1. 2 pieces your choice of bread, toasted

    2. ¼ can refried beans

    3. ¼ - ½ cup shredded chicken

    4. ¼ mashed avocado

    5. Toppings: Chopped cilantro, red onion, lime juice, sriracha, salt & pepper to taste


These toasts are so not basic. Avocado doesn’t have the strongest taste, so it’s easy to dress it up. Play around with different flavors and enjoy!
