What were your workouts like before joining? Your Nutrition?
My workouts were primarily cycling and no nutrition.

What are your training sessions like now?
My workouts are now structured, focused to my abilities, and effective at building strength and mobility. I've found nutrition to be the single most effective path to reducing body fat and feeling well and energized all day long.

What are your goals going forward?
My goals (Body fat % < 18, weight < 225) have been reached and now Im focusing on improving mobility (specifically in my hips) and techniques (KB swings, deadlifting, cycling).

What specific results have you gotten since joining? Weight, dress size, belt size? Does your body feel better? How?
Results are numerous, greater mobility in all my joints (neck, hips, ankles, knees, shoulders etc) better control of my weight variations throughout the year +/- 5 lbs variation. Improved cycling speed and ability. A lot of the improvements have to do with lifestyle changes involving nutrition and incorporating healthy nutrition into my daily routine.

What's the biggest impact training at Results Driven has had on your life?
To be honest I was never a gym person. I had the mindset that exercise occurs through active lifestyles (cycling, hiking, kayaking, etc) and Ive never belonged to a gym in my 50+ years on this earth. Since joining RD my thoughts on exercise have change somewhat. Today I believe Ive benefited most from RD because of the structured approach they use (FMS, strong first). All workouts are supervised which ensures correct movement and prevents injuries (this is very important. The emphasis on nutrition and the support, not only from the staff but other members which occurs during the nutrition counseling is excellent and fun.

If you could go back to when you joined, what advice would you give yourself to help you succeed sooner?
I would have started taking more small group personal training each week. I feel this has really helped me to improve my strength and mobility. I was in sad shape as far as mobility when I first joined and needed a lot of personal attention to work through my limitations.

Would you recommend Results Driven Fitness Systems? If so, why?
Definitely, If your looking for a place to have fun, while getting into shape, and most importantly without injuring yourself on the way than this is the only place.

A little over 1 year

What were your workouts like before joining? Your Nutrition?
I had no workout routine at all. Have a physical job and thought that's all I needed. I didn't realize how much your body can be out of tune with itself by using the same muscle pattern day in and day out.

Nutrition: Yup! A pint of Ben and Jerry almost every night.

What are your training sessions like now?
Pretty routine. Working on core strength. With the whole group working on the same routine each session it gives the staff time to give advice to each if things aren't being done quite right.

What are your goals going forward?
I had my left hip replaced and would like to rebuild the muscle tone I lost from that. I also have RSD in the right side of my body and the work I'm doing is helping with stretching the muscle back out and keeping the area limber.

Cutting back on the ice cream is a big deal for me. I'm addicted!!! I've seen what my body feels like by cutting consumption in half (feels great). Not eating all the carbs I had been having has cut down on the bloating. Eating more fruit and vegetables has been a help. I know there are lots more improvements to be made with my nutrition but for me to make any change is a big deal. Baby steps I keep telling myself.

What specific results have you gotten since joining? Weight, dress size, belt size? Does your body feel better? How?
I've gained a great deal with my balance issue. It is really amazing how far I have come with the balance issue. I'm very pleased as is the whole staff. The pain levels from the RSD have dropped some and I find it easier to lift my right leg higher with each step I take. The ability to lift my leg more has lessened the balance problems that I'm having. I'm not falling any where near as much as I had been. I can feel my body getting tighter which is what I'm looking for. I'm 63 and have become conscious of how things tend to loosen up with age. Getting that back in shape is a good thing.

What's the biggest impact training at Results Driven has had on your life?
Results Driven has got me out of the house. With the results that I have attained so far I look forward to the sessions I attend. I'm looking forward to more improvement on my core strength. I've dealt with the RSD for 29 years now and have had numerous medical treatments done to help improve my quality of life. With Results Driven I've seen a great improvement in my pain management and ability to aggressively use the right side of my body again. Sure I have break through pain days but they are coming less frequent.
If you could go back to when you joined, what advice would you give yourself to help you succeed sooner? I don't know if I would need to give myself any advise. I'm pleased with the progression and results I've achieved so far. Maybe I would say "what took you so long" to do this.

Would you recommend Results Driven Fitness Systems? If so, why?
Sure I would and I do. The staff is very knowledgeable about what they are doing. They fit a program to your body. If you need help they're there to give it. They treat you as a person not a number.

Best of all staff and members are a lot of fun. Just like one big happy family.

How long have you been a member? Almost 2 months

What were your workouts like before joining? Your Nutrition?
Before joining I went to the gym on and off (more off). While exercising, I would exercise 5-6 times per week for about 2 hours a day. When I wasn't exercising my nutrition was nowhere as good as it was when I did exercise. Either way, I didn't keep a food or exercise journal.

What are your training sessions like now?
Great! Lots of energy, especially with the new system. I feel like I'm getting more of a workout during personal days.

What are your goals going forward?
To continue to get more fit and stronger and lose the fat around my stomach to fit into some older clothes that are tight / don't fit.

What specific results have you gotten since joining?
Weight, dress size, belt size? Does your body feel better? How? My arms, back, and legs have gotten much stronger and defined. My body feels a lot better, although I would still like to lose the fat around my stomach.

What's the biggest impact training at Results Driven has had on your life?
Training has made my body feel better and has given me energy throughout the day. Also, by keeping a food and exercise journal I'm really watching what I put into my body to maximize my results.

If you could go back to when you joined, what advice would you give yourself to help you succeed sooner?
Don't get frustrated if you have any setbacks. Let the coaches do their jobs to help you get the best results.

Would you recommend Results Driven Fitness Systems? If so, why?
Yes. Every workout is different and has a lot of energy, so you don't get bored with the same routine. Your workouts are personalized for you based on your movement screening. "Joining Results Driven was one of the best decisions I ever made for my health and fitness goals.

You always workout with a coach, and they all know and treat you as a friend.

Results Driven also has a big piece of the fitness/fat loss puzzle that most gyms don't have. Nutritional Counseling. At Results Driven they actually teach you what, how, and when to eat. And yes, you can still eat good food and see results if you do it right.

Results Driven is not just a gym. It's a community of cool people with like minded goals who constantly push and drive each other."

"I had open heart surgery and a valve replaced. So I wanted to lose weight and regain stamina, and RD has done all of that. I’ve lost 34lbs. Here’s the good news; I don’t have to see my electrophysicologist anymore. He kicked me to the curb! He said I don’t have atrial fibrillation issues and I’m losing weight.

Now I’m on track to see my cardiologist and he might take me off of my meds. My heart rate and blood pressure are perfect. I'm happy as hell!"
