Ruby’s Rainbow Interview - Chris Acevedo

“He's a big void to fill. Holidays are coming and how do you fill that big personality in the room?”

My father was selfless. It's just the way he was. He put others before himself.  At RD he’d break someone’s chops one minute and then turn around and help someone with their workout. He came off as this big burly, rough around the edges kind of guy, and then you come to find out that he's a big softy.

He's a big void to fill. Holidays are coming and how do you fill that big personality in the room? It's different now, but we know he left an impression on everyone.

I have twin daughters and my father loved his two granddaughters more than anything in the world.  They have Down syndrome- but he never saw it like that. If he were here, he would be doing everything he could to help them have the best possible life, which is why we chose Ruby’s Rainbow to honor his memory.
