So many FIRSTS last week! We like to give people props for their first team training or small group. Shout out to Ester Sue, Chloe, Toni, and Andrew for making their first appearances on the RD stage!

For content, Mike's Humans of Results Driven story was a hit and our throwback post addresses how to start building upper body strength.

Humans of Results Driven: Mike's Story

Mike Mac guitar 3x2 for web.jpg

When I think of fitness and the kind of people who were like, "I'm going to be in shape,” they were the ones going to the gym four days a week, bench pressing everything. I tried it in the past, but I'd go to the gym and I didn't know what I was doing. And the next day I could barely move because I felt like when you go to the gym, you should be working out hard. Then, you do that, and you can't move the next day.

And I just felt this idea of, “maybe I'm just not that kind of guy?”

At the same time, I feel like I'm getting to the point where if I don't start to do something now, then it might be too late. So, I felt that this was a good point in my life to buckle down and take care of myself.

Kind of suddenly, recently, there was a death in the family, of somebody who just wasn't in the best health. I’d like to have a family one day, and I would like to be around for a long time.
